Sandy Lyle…..are you on Drugs

Hi Guys,

But I cannot help but write this post just before the British Open.

What the hell is Sandy Lyle on….??? How can he have the audacity to snipe at Colin Montgomerie about the Jakartagate incident when he last year commited the gravest sin in golf…….. “He just gave UP”

It was raining a bit and a tad breezy and Sandy walked off the Golf Course.

Montgomerie is no angel but to bring up this issue on the eve of a Major Championship is not one of bad timing but just plain ignorance.

As a British Golf fan i was avidly following and cheering on Lyle in the US Masters where he put up a titanic performance, but this comment again makes me believe he has just lost the plot when it comes to that all important part of golf “Etiquette”

Anyway guys, if you are following the tourney this week then lets hope it’s a great finishing day like the titanic struggle between Harrington and Garcia.

In terms of my own golf, I once holed out a 30 footer on the last green at Turnberry in an amateur tournament. It’s those precious moments we all remember from our days on the golf course.
