One of the Greatest Majors in Years

Hi Guys,

What a crackerjack of a Major this years US Open was. It had absolutely everything you could want to watch as a golf fan.

For me I would loved to have seen David Duval win it but just when it came to crunch time the tee shot on 17 cost him, but what a performance and what can you say about Mickelson and Woods.

Both these guys gave it their absolute all to eke out a title that from a long way out they never really had a chance of…….both showed what true champions are made of. THEY JUST NEVER GIVE IN.

As for Ricky Barnes…..well he led the field a merry dance for a long while and when he made the eagle early in the fourth round it looked like it was all over but of course things change and especially at the US Open.

As for our winner Lucas Glover it must be a sweet result because he near as damn threw it away in the third round but dug in and fought for all he was worth and when it came down to the stretch he had enough bottle to see it through.

I must say i have not seen such an entertaining US Open for years and am eagerly awaiting our own Open come early July.

I would love to hear what you guys think and please add in who you think will win the next major.
